United Bankshares, Inc. (UBSI) declared a fourth quarter dividend of 21¢ per share for shareholders of record as of December 10, 1999. This is an 5% increase over the 20¢ paid in the fourth quarter of 1998 and is equal to the third quarter of 1999 dividend.
